AMM-6702SM

New 20 to 50GHz LO Amplifier Provides High Gain in SMT Package

Marki Microwave introduces the AMM-6702SM, the industry’s first high gain LO driver amplifier to provide a wide 20 to 50GHz bandwidth in a convenient surface mount package. High linearity broadband mmwave mixers such as our MM1-1850HSM require high power broadband LO driver amplifiers. This GaAs MMIC amplifier provides over 24 dB gain and over +19 dBm saturated output power in a power-efficient design that is capable of driving Marki surface mount S-diode mixers. The  AMM-6702SM‘s unmatched combination of bandwidth, power and efficiency make this an ideal LO driver amp for SATCOM, radar, 5G, and point-to-point applications.

New Low Phase Noise 2-29GHz LO Amplifier Optimized for Marki Mixers

APM-6848

Phase noise is a critical concern in applications ranging from sensitive military radars to state-of-the-art wireless chipset testing to ultra low-noise frequency source design. For this reason, Marki Microwave is proud to introduce the APM-6848, our first low phase noise amplifier! Featuring positive-only bias and requiring no external bias tees or power sequencing, this GaAs HBT MMIC LO driver will produce more gain and more output power up to higher frequencies than any competing GaAs HBT amplifiers on the market.  The APM-6848 is unique among wideband GaAs HBT amplifiers in that it can provide a +21dBm typical saturated output power with an input power of only 0 to 5dBm.  This is ideal for driving our L, H, and S-diode mixers in a single stage from your VCO or synthesizer output. Careful consideration was made to power consumption, drawing only 47mA and providing 23dB of gain, making it one of the most power efficient wideband low phase noise amplifiers on the market. The APM-6848 is available today in bare die and connectorized module, and the surface-mount version is coming soon (contact us to learn more).
