QPC6188 RF Switch by Qorvo
The QPC6188 from Qorvo is an absorptive SP4T switch that operates from 0.05 to 8.6 GHz. It is fabricated using SOI process technology for cellular infrastructure, LTE, and high-performance communication applications. This absorptive switch has a switching time of less than 1 µs, an insertion loss of less than 2 dB, and provides more than 30 dB of isolation. It can handle RF input power up to 30 dBm in the ON state and provides return loss better than 20 dB.
The QPC6188 supports JEDEC-standard 1.2 V, 1.5 V, and 1.8 V positive control logic levels and incorporates a single-pin control to disable the internal negative-voltage generator (NVG) with an external negative-voltage source. It requires a VDD supply of 3 to 5.5 V and a VSS supply of -5 to -3 V, while consuming less than 600 µA. This switch is available in a 20-pin SMT package measuring 3 × 3 mm and is suitable for wireless infrastructure, test equipment, and high-performance communication applications.
