MBAL-0220PSM Balun by Marki Microwave
The MBAL-0220PSM from Marki Microwave is a MMIC Isolation Balun that operates from 2 to 20 GHz. It is fabricated using GaAs technology and provides a 2:1 impedance ratio for balanced-to-unbalanced signal conversion with a nominal phase shift of 180°. This balun has an insertion loss of 2.7 dB and provides an isolation of 17 dB. It has a common mode rejection of 38 dB, an amplitude balance of 0.1 dB, and a phase balance of 0.7°. This 50-ohm MMIC balun can handle an RF input power of up to 37 dBm and has a common port return loss of 14 dB.
The MBAL-0220PSM is available in a compact 3 × 3 mm QFN surface-mount package. It is RoHS- and REACH-compliant and has an EAR99 export classification. This MMIC isolation balun is ideal for use in electronic warfare (EW), test and measurement equipment, radar, satellite communications, balanced amplifiers, clock distribution networks, and high-channel-count analog-to-digital converter (ADC) systems.
