SSG-33GHP-RC Signal Generator by Mini-Circuits
The SSG-33GHP-RC from Mini-Circuits is a Wideband Signal Generator that operates from 100 MHz to 33 GHz. It is designed to provide a cost-effective RF and millimeter-wave signal source for bench and automated production test applications requiring high output power across the full frequency range. This signal generator provides an output power from -40 dBm to +23 dBm with a power resolution of 0.5 dB. It has harmonics of -15 dBc, non-harmonic spurious levels of -50 dBc, and an SSB phase noise of -102 dBc/Hz (at a 100 kHz offset). It supports CW operation, pulse modulation, frequency and power sweeps, and hop sequences with a minimum dwell time of 10 µs. This generator has a settling time of 0.45 ms, a minimum pulse width of 0.5 µs, and rise/fall times of 50 ns. It also features a daisy-chain control interface that allows up to 25 units to be connected and controlled through a single software interface.
The SSG-33GHP-RC supports an external 10 MHz reference input (-3.5 to +7.5 dBm) and provides a 10 MHz reference output (±5.5 dBm), along with trigger input and output interfaces. It can be controlled via USB HID or Ethernet (HTTP, Telnet, and SSH) and includes a Windows GUI with API support for Windows and Linux. This signal generator requires an 11.4 to 12.6 VDC supply and draws up to 1.9 A of current. It is housed in a compact benchtop enclosure measuring 129.54 × 142.24 × 25.40 mm and has a 2.92 mm (female) output connector. This signal generator is ideal for use in 5G FR1 and FR2, Wi-Fi 6E, millimeter-wave communication infrastructure, semiconductor burn-in and life testing, wideband local oscillator (LO) generation, and automated production test systems.
