The Veda IF913 Series from Ezurio are Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.4 Combo Modules that operate in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands. They are designed for low-power industrial IoT and battery-operated devices requiring Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Matter, and IP networking for secure cloud connectivity. These modules are based on the Infineon AIROC CYW55913 wireless MCU and integrate a 192 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 core, an ultra-low-power sensor hub, an AI/ML accelerator, up to 8 MB of PSRAM and 8 MB of Flash memory, and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth radios. They support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth LE 5.4, with OFDMA and 1×1 MU-MIMO support for Wi-Fi 6. These combo modules deliver data rates of up to 54 Mbps in Wi-Fi 6 mode and 2 Mbps in BLE mode.
The Veda IF913 Series modules deliver a Tx output power of up to +18 dBm for Wi-Fi 6 and +7 dBm for Bluetooth LE, with an Rx sensitivity of -97 dBm and -107 dBm, respectively. These combo modules integrate Arm TrustZone and CryptoCell 312 security technologies with secure boot, firmware authentication and encryption, and secure key management. They also support WPA2/WPA3 Personal and Enterprise security standards.
The modules support UART and SDIO 2.0 interfaces for Wi-Fi, along with HCI over high-speed UART and PCM/I2S interfaces for Bluetooth. They require a DC supply from 3.13 to 4.8 V and draw less than 373 mA of current. These modules are available in 108-pin LGA packages measuring 11.0 × 7.0 × 1.4 mm.
