The NCS2-2702+ from Mini-Circuits is a 1:2 RF Transformer that operates from 9 to 27 GHz. It is fabricated using low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology and is designed for balanced-to-unbalanced signal conversion in X-, Ku-, and K-band applications. This 50-ohm transformer has an insertion loss of less than 2.5 dB and a common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of more than 18 dB. It has an amplitude unbalance of up to 1.7 dB and a phase unbalance of up to 15°. This transformer can handle up to 10 W of input power and has an unbalanced-port return loss of 16 dB.
The NCS2-2702+ is available in a surface-mount 0805 package measuring 2.00 × 1.25 × 0.53 mm and has a tin-plated-over-nickel finish. This RoHS-compliant transformer is ideal for X-band radar, Ku/Ka-band SATCOM ground terminals, RF sampling ADCs/DACs, test and measurement equipment, and emerging 6G cmWave applications.
