PMA5-223+ RF Amplifier by Mini-Circuits

PMA5-223+ RF Amplifier by Mini-Circuits

The PMA5-223+ from Mini-Circuits is a GaAs pHEMT MMIC Power Amplifier that operates from 10 MHz to 22 GHz. It is designed for wideband applications requiring high output power and low distortion and uses a distributed amplifier architecture. This 50-ohm amplifier delivers a typical saturated output power of +33 dBm with a linear gain of 15.5 dB. It has an input return loss of more than 11 dB and an output return loss of more than 9 dB.

The PMA5-223+ requires a +15 V DC supply and consumes 500 mA of quiescent current. It is available in a 32-lead QFN-style package measuring 5 × 5 mm. This power amplifier is ideal for test and measurement equipment, 5G MIMO and backhaul radio, satellite communications, radar, electronic warfare, and ECM defense systems.
