Raptor X Rail Certified Antenna

The Taoglas MA8020 represents a new generation of railway-certified multi-function antennas, built on the proven Raptor X platform. Re-engineered specifically for rail applications, it delivers reliable, high-speed connectivity for train-to-ground communication, passenger services, and real-time operational systems.​

​Optimized for demanding rail environments, the MA8020 is engineered to meet stringent EN50155 railway standards for mechanical and RF performance and adheres to EN45545 fire safety requirements, ensuring long-term reliability, safety, and compliance in rolling stock installations. With integrated multi-band GNSS, cellular, and Wi-Fi® capabilities in a compact, low-profile housing, the MA8020 supports the growing need for connected, data-driven railway systems. With multiple mounting options, it is direct mount as standard or can be supplied with the additional mounting plate – RMP.8020.A – to replace existing hardware installations.​

The MA80xx.A Raptor X Series underwent a comprehensive railway qualification programme to assess compliance with EN 50155 and EN 45545-2 requirements. Independent testing covered environmental durability, vibration and shock, EMC, electrical safety, temperature and humidity exposure, and fire performance of key materials and components. The test results provide objective evidence of the product’s suitability for railway applications and demonstrate compliance with the applicable requirements detailed below.
