MEM-SP4T-A18 RF Switch by Mini-Circuits

The MEM-SP4T-A18 from Mini-Circuits is a MEMS-Based SP4T Absorptive Switch that operates from DC to 18 GHz. It has an insertion loss of less than 3.5 dB, isolation of more than 45 dB, and a switching speed of 2 ms. This SP4T switch can handle an input power of 25 W (CW) and has a return loss of 16 dB. It uses MEMS technology to deliver high-speed switching with an SP4T configuration, offering high power handling and the isolation performance of a mechanical switch.

The MEM-SP4T-A18 can also be daisy-chained, allowing multiple switches (up to 25) to be combined into a Master/Slave chain. The entire chain can be controlled through a single USB interface with a user-friendly GUI application for Windows and a full API for Windows and Linux OS. This absorptive switch requires a DC supply of 4.75-5.25 V and consumes less than 140 mA of current. It is available in a compact module that measures 1.800 x 1.600 inches and has 2.92 mm (female) connectors. This switch is ideal for antenna linefeed, microwave radio, signal routing, switch matrices, high-volume production testing/ATE, and SATCOM/GNSS applications.
