QPF4557 Front End Module by Qorvo
The QPF4557 from Qorvo is a Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) Front-End Module (FEM) operating at 5 GHz, supporting all channels from UNII 1-3 (5.125 to 5.925 GHz). It has an integrated 5 GHz power amplifier (PA), a single pole two throw switch (SP2T), a coupler structure, and a bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA). This FEM also has an integrated coupler for DPD feedback training and a broad-range constant slope voltage logarithmic power detector for application feedback and power control. It delivers a Tx power of up to +25 dBm with a Tx gain of 33 dB and has an RX gain of 14.5 dB with a noise figure of 1.6 dB.
The QPF4557 is optimized for a 5V supply voltage, which minimizes power consumption to allow for systems that use digital pre-distortion to achieve the high linear output power and leading edge throughput for the RF chain. It consumes less than 360 mA (11n) and 17 mA (Rx) of current. This module is available in a laminate package that measures 3.0 x 5.0 mm. It is ideal for Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) systems like access points, wireless routers, set-top boxes, customer premise equipment and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
