CQS29X Cellular Module by Cavli Wireless

The CQS29X from Cavli Wireless are LTE Cat 4 Modules with 2G Fallback capability designed to meet a wide range of automotive and non-automotive application needs. They comply with the 3GPP Release 10 standard and are based on Qualcomm’s QCM2290 and QWM2290 chipsets. These modules also integrate a 2 GHz ARM Cortex A53 quad-core CPU and Qualcomm’s Adreno 702 GPU, 4 GB LPDDR4X, 64 GB eMMC memory, and serial interfaces. The GPU delivers high-quality graphics and image quality with powerful compute performance. These LTE Cat 4 modules also support multi-constellation GNSS (GPS, BDS, GLONASS, NavIC, and SBAS). They deliver a data rate of 150 Mbps (DL) & 50 Mbps (UL) in the LTE Cat 4 mode and 236.8 Kbps (DL/UL) in the GSM 2G mode.

The CQS29X modules offer an integrated eSIM option for global connectivity via the Cavli Hubble IoT platform, enabling seamless deployment across various applications. They can be remotely controlled via UART, I2C, USB, USIM, and LCD interfaces, and support the Android 12 OS (with service packs up to Android 14). These RF modules are available in LCC + LGA packages measuring 40.5 x 40.5 mm. They are ideal for e-health, retail, energy & utilities, manufacturing, automotive logistics, safety, and smart city applications.
