The UBX-M10150-KB from u-blox is a GNSS Receiver that covers GPS (L1), QZSS (L1/L5), BeiDou (B1), Galileo (E1), and SBAS (L1) constellations. It provides maximum position availability with concurrent reception from all major constellations. This receiver consists of a GNSS receiver chip, a TCXO, security functions, and interfaces. It also includes advanced filtering algorithms to mitigate RF interference, jamming and spoofing, thereby ensuring reliable operation. This GNSS receiver chip has a horizontal positioning accuracy of 1.5 m. It has a cold start time of 28 s and a hot start time of 2 s.

The UBX-M10150-KB supports signed UBX messages using SHA-256 and lock-by-command features to secure the functionality of the chip. This receiver allows upgrading of the firmware from either a host computer or external Flash. It also uses the AssistNow Predictive Orbits data to further improve the position accuracy. This chip can be controlled using multiple interfaces such as UART, DDC, and SPI. It uses CloudLocate feature to extend the battery life of energy-constrained IoT devices. This GNSS receiver requires a DC supply of 1 to 1.8 V and consumes 15 mW & 10 mW (LEAP mode) of power. It is available in QFN packages measuring 4.00 x 4.00 x 0.55 mm or 5.00 x 5.00 x 0.55 mm. This chip is ideally designed for asset tracking applications.
