MPG RF and microwave filters are designed to operate on signals in the 100’s of KHz to 90 GHz frequency ranges. Most RF and microwave systems will include some kind of filtering on the signals transmitted or received and such filters are commonly used as building blocks for multiplexers to combine or separate multiple frequency bands.

RF & Microwave spectrum management is often overlooked in the need to deploy the latest RADAR or wireless communications technology. Regulatory licensing requirements or the mitigation of co-site interference, and external interference can often render even the most sophisticated communications or sensing system inoperable. Filter Types

Bandpass

To meet customer specifications, timeframes, and cost requirements, MPG offers a full line of Bandpass Filters, that can be customized to meet varying frequencies, bandwidths and Q requirements. Bandpass Filters are offered as narrowband filters and wideband filters. Bandreject

All Bandreject Filters or Band Stop Filters made by MPG, are available as a wideband or narrowbandreject filter and can be customized to user specifications. For example, Notch Filters are commonly applied to applications where it is necessary to attenuate a single frequency. MPG can customize Notch Filters to reject two very narrow band signals while monitoring broadband for out-of-band spurious or harmonic radiations. Learn More

Highpass Filters pass high frequencies while rejecting low frequencies.
