LabSat 4 GNSS Simulator by LabSat
The LabSat 4 from Racelogic is a Multi-Constellation GNSS Record and Replay Simulator designed to provide realistic, reliable, and repeatable GNSS testing without the need for costly live-sky field testing. It supports recording and replaying GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, NavIC, Pulsar, and SBAS signals across the upper and lower L-Band, with S-Band support. This simulator features 3 independently configurable RF channels, each with a variable bandwidth of 10 to 60 MHz and up to 12-bit I&Q quantization. It also supports real-time simulation via SatGen Simulation Software with a live UTC timestamp and tight multi-system synchronization of two LabSat 4 units for dual-antenna testing applications.
This simulator provides a nominal output signal level of -93 dBm/MHz with a variable attenuator offering +20 to -69 dB of adjustment during replay. It uses a TCXO reference oscillator with temperature stability of ±0.05 ppm, and an optional OCXO upgrade with frequency stability of ±0.3 ppm over the first year. This simulator supports additional signal logging, including 2× CAN, 1× CAN-FD, 4× digital channels, and 1× RS232 channel.
The LabSat 4 can be controlled via a web interface or an API over Gigabit Ethernet. It requires an 8 to 30 V DC supply and is available in a compact, portable enclosure measuring 167 × 137 × 52 mm, with a battery and SSD installed. This simulator can operate at ambient temperatures up to +50°C and is ideal for aerospace and drone testing, automotive and autonomous vehicle testing, precision agriculture, IoT device testing, and end-of-line production testing.
