TSS-43ULN+ RF Amplifier by Mini-Circuits
The TSS-43ULN+ from Mini-Circuits is a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) MMIC that operates from 500 to 4000 MHz. It is engineered to combine high gain with a low noise figure in a compact, low-profile form-factor, making it suitable for integration into sensitive receiver systems. This LNA is manufactured using pHEMT technology. It provides a gain of 19 dB with a noise figure of 0.4 dB and an output P1dB of 23.7 dBm.
The TSS-43ULN+ low noise amplifier also utilizes a voltage-controlled shutdown feature, thereby allowing the device to be quickly disabled to conserve power when not in use. It requires a 5 VDC supply and draws 59 mA of current. This RoHS-compliant LNA is available in a 2 x 2 mm QFN package, saving space in dense layouts, while providing low inductance, repeatable transitions, and excellent thermal contact with the PCB. It is ideal for SATCOM, radar, EW, ECM, and cellular infrastructure applications.
