u-blox ZED-X20K test drive: Lane-level accuracy in real Munich traffic

How does u-blox ZED-X20K, the automotive high-precision GNSS module, perform in real driving conditions?

In this test drive, Martin and Laura take ZED-X20K into busy Munich traffic to demonstrate scalable lane-level positioning using all-band GNSS, Galileo HAS, dead reckoning, sensor fusion, and multipath mitigation.

The demo shows:

✔ Galileo HAS correction reception on the E6 signal

✔ Sub-meter positioning performance in real driving conditions

✔ Dead reckoning when GNSS signals are blocked underground

✔ More stable navigation behavior compared with standard smartphone positioning

✔ Multipath mitigation for more robust positioning in dense urban environments

For automotive applications such as V2X, telematics, advanced navigation, and ADAS up to Level 3, scalable and robust positioning is becoming increasingly important. Learn more about ZED-X20K: https://www.u-blox.com/en/product/zed-x20k-module
