SGF-60 Signal Generator by HAROGIC Technologies
The SGF-60 from HAROGIC Technologies is a Vector Signal Generator (VSG) that operates from 9 kHz to 6 GHz. It is designed to generate different types of RF signals, including CW, AM/FM, digitally modulated, and chirp, in a compact form factor, while maintaining excellent phase noise and harmonic level performance. These features make the generator suitable for R&D, footprint-sensitive, and budget-conscious applications where performance cannot be sacrificed. This VSG is based on ARM and x86_64 processors and features an FPGA-based interpolator for flexible, fine-grained adjustment of the sampling rate from 195.3125 kHz to 400 MHz, while reducing the computational load on the host.
The SGF-60 uses a built-in 16-bit DAC and up to 1 GB on-board memory for waveform playback up to 320 MHz and real-time I/Q streaming up to 50 MHz. This VSG has an output power range of 9 to 16 dBm in 0.1 dB steps, spurious levels up to -85 dBc, and a phase noise of -134 dBc/Hz at a 10 kHz offset. The signal generator can be interfaced with SGSStudio software for continuous waveform streaming, RF control, and simplified characterization of complex waveforms. It can be controlled remotely via USB 2.0/3.0 interfaces, requires a 9 to 12 V DC supply, and consumes less than 22 W of power. This VSG is available as a module measuring 163 x 66 x 37 mm and has an N-type (female) connector. The compact design facilitates seamless integration, ensuring reduced deployment complexity and operational overhead.
