The SRM813Q Series from MeiG Smart Technology are 5G RedCap Modules that operate in the 5G NR, LTE FDD, and LTE TDD bands. They are designed to achieve lower cost with fewer antennas and low power consumption, making them suitable for IoT and eMBB applications. These RedCap modules are based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X35 5G modem and RF system. They primarily support operation in 5G SA mode while offering backward compatibility with 4G networks. These modules deliver peak data rates of 220 Mbps in the downlink and 120 Mbps in the uplink with 64-QAM and 256-QAM, providing higher RF performance than 4G LTE Cat.4 modules.
The SRM813Q Series modules provide output power up to 23 dBm, per Class 3 requirements. These 5G modules also feature network slicing and high-precision timing capabilities for enhanced network performance. They utilize multiple network management protocols, including TCP, IPv4, and IPv6, and support Windows 7/8/8.1/10, Linux, and Android-compatible drivers with FOTA upgrades. The modules can be configured via several interfaces, including USB, PCIe Gen2.0, and USIM. They are available in compact LGA packages that measure 29.0 x 32.0 x 2.4 mm. The packages offer pin-to-pin compatibility with 4G Cat.4 products for seamless integration. These modules are ideal for mobile broadband, smart energy, video surveillance, laptops, and wearable applications.
