The AQ62 from Cavli Wireless is an Automotive-Grade 5G NR Sub-6 GHz Module with LTE Cat 18 fallback support. It is designed for next-generation telematics and connected-vehicle applications and delivers dependable connectivity across global networks. This 3GPP Release-17-compliant module integrates an ARM Cortex-A5 quad-core CPU, up to 16 GB RAM, 1 GB NAND memory, and multiple serial interfaces. It supports Qualcomm Location Suite Gen 9VT and provides multi-constellation GNSS connectivity for vehicles. This module delivers a data rate of 4.4 Gbps (DL) and 900 Mbps (UL) with 4CC in the 5G NR mode and uses 5CC technology in the LTE mode.
The AQ62 also supports VoLTE and NG-eCall for voice communication and emergency connectivity from vehicles. It runs Linux/TelSDK OS and supports multiple interfaces, including UART, dual USIM, USB, SDC, I²C, SPI, I²S, PCM, RGMII/SGMII/USxGMII, PCIe, and 19 GPIOs for integration with external devices and automotive systems. This module requires a DC supply from 3.5 to 4.4 V and is available in an LGA package measuring 54.5 × 53.0 mm. It is ideal for automotive logistics, healthcare & e-health, smart city, safety & security, and energy & utility applications.
