The ADM-8625PSM from Marki Microwave is a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) that operates from 750 MHz to 8 GHz. It is designed to provide high dynamic range and gain while maintaining low return loss, offering high linearity for RF front-end applications. This LNA can operate either as a linear signal amplifier or saturated amplifier for H- or S-diode mixers. It provides a small signal gain of 18 dB with a noise figure of 1.5 dB and an output P1dB of +17 dBm. This LNA has a return loss of 15 dB (input) and 16 dB (output).
The ADM-8625PSM also integrates DC-blocking capacitors at the input and output pins and is internally matched to 50 Ohms, eliminating the need for an external RF matching circuitry. This RoHS-compliant low noise amplifier requires a +3 to +6 V DC supply (no negative bias required) and draws less than 4 mA of current. It is available in a compact, low-SWaP 3 x 3 mm QFN package and is ideal for mobile test and measurement, radar, SATCOM, 5G transceivers, and as driver amplifiers.
