The QPQ5610 from Qorvo is a BAW Band Pass Filter (BPF) with a passband from 5945 to 7250 MHz, covering the U-NII 5-8 band, and a center frequency of 6600 MHz. It is based on Qorvo’s bandBoost technology, enabling fast band transition capability, low loss in the Wi-Fi U-NII 5-8 band, and high near-in rejection in the U-NII 1-3 band. These features deliver higher power handling in several Wi-Fi channels than traditional filters and enable sub-band separation of the 6 GHz spectrum from the 5 GHz spectrum in tri-band Wi-Fi radios.
The QPQ5610 has a passband insertion loss of 1.70 dB. It includes an internal matching circuit, eliminating the need for external passive components, and uses common module packaging techniques to simplify integration into applications. This RoHS-compliant filter is available in a laminate package that measures 1.8 x 1.6 mm. It is ideal for access points, wireless routers, residential gateways, customer premise equipment, and IoT applications.
