DWM3001C RF Module by Qorvo
The DWM3001C from Qorvo is a Fully Integrated UWB Transceiver Module that supports UWB Channels 5 at 6.5 GHz and 9 at 8 GHz. It is based on the DW3110 UWB transceiver and integrates an nRF52833 MCU, a BLE transceiver, a planar UWB antenna, an accelerometer, power management, and a crystal. This UWB module supports data rates of 850 kbps and 6.8 Mbps with a maximum packet length of 1023 bytes. It features a fully coherent receiver for maximum range and accuracy and an integrated AES 128/256 security block. This module is compliant with IEEE 802.15.4-2015 and IEEE 802.15.4z BPRF and aligned with the FiRa PHY and MAC specifications, and is backward compatible with the DWM1001C module.
The DWM3001C requires a supply voltage of 2.5 to 3.6 V and includes a Bluetooth chip antenna alongside the primary UWB antenna. It can be controlled via UART, SPI, USB, I²C, SWD, and GPIO interfaces and is available in a 48-pin side-castellated module measuring 27 × 19.13 × 3.2 mm. It is designed for two-way ranging and TDoA applications and is suitable for precision real-time location systems and location-aware wireless sensor networks.
