SSG-R7N6GD-RC Signal Generator by Mini-Circuits

The SSG-R7N6GD-RC from Mini-Circuits is a Dual-Channel Signal Generator that operates from 700 to 6000 MHz. It is designed to provide a cost-effective broadband signal source for bench and production test applications requiring high output power and flexible signal generation. This signal generator supports two independently tunable channels and can generate CW, pulsed, AM, FM, and chirp output waveforms, as well as automated frequency and power sweep-and-hop sequences. It delivers an output power range from -60 dBm to +24 dBm with a power resolution of 0.1 dB and a power accuracy of ±0.5 dB. This signal generator has an SSB phase noise of -126 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset (at 700 MHz) and non-harmonic spurious levels of -50 dBc. It features a daisy-chain control interface with dynamic addressing, enabling up to 25 units to be connected as a multi-channel signal source, all controlled through a single software interface. It also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for flexible deployment.

The SSG-R7N6GD-RC can be controlled via USB Type-C or Ethernet interfaces, supporting TCP/IP, HTTP, Telnet, and SSH protocols, with a full GUI for Windows and direct programming for Linux environments. It requires a DC supply of 5.7 to 6.3 V and consumes up to 3.0 A of current. This signal generator is available in a compact benchtop module and has SMA female RF connectors. It is ideal for semiconductor burn-in and life testing, radar, SATCOM, telecoms, industrial and wireless testing, and automated production test systems.
