The PCS.26.A from Taoglas is a low profile, SMT, penta-band antenna for LTE/Cellular applications (600 to 2300 MHz). This antenna can be directly mounted on a PCB to give high efficiency in a very small form factor – measuring just 54.6 x 13.3 mm. Its small size and rectangular shape make it very easy to integrate. The antennas are available in tape and reel, and can be mounted on a PCB board using a pick and place machine. Taoglas recommends using this antenna with a longer ground-plane with a length of 100mm or more for maximum efficiency. Some tuning can be performed on this antenna to help optimize to the device environment. The PCS.26.A is ideal for low-cost LTE/cellular applications, particularly in the telematics and automotive sector.
