The Nordic Semiconductor nRF51822 is a multiprotocol SoC that supports Bluetooth Low Energy and 2.4 GHz ultra low-power wireless applications. It is built around a 32-bit ARM Cortex M0 CPU with 256 kB/128 kB flash + 32 kB/16 kB RAM. The SoC provides an output power of 4 dBm while operating over a single power supply and has a receive sensitivity of -93 dBm. It is available in 6 x 6 mm, 48-pin QFN packages and 3 ultra-compact wafer-level chip-scale packages (WL-CSP) measuring 3.83 x 3.83 mm with a height profile of just 0.35 mm. This SoC is ideal for mobile phones, wearables, beacons, smart homes and smart RF tags applications.
