SpaceNXT MWC Series Power Divider by Smiths Interconnect
The SpaceNXT MWC Series from Smiths Interconnect are 2-Way Ku-Band Isolated Splitters that operate from 10.7 to 12.8 GHz. The MWC Series has been designed to provide a phase-stable output for the commercial satellite uplink band (downlink options also available). They can handle up to 1 watt of power, have an insertion loss of less than 1.4 dB, and isolation of over 20 dB. These splitters are available in an EMC shielded, RoHS-compliant stackable aluminum case with field-replaceable SMA connectors and are suitable for a variety of space applications such as in MEO/GEO satellites and deep space probes.
Testing for the SpaceNXT MWC Series is performed in house and in compliance with general space qualification flows, incorporating industry-standard environmental requirements or custom screening and qualification flows provided by users as preferred. The test sequence and limits were designed and selected by Smiths Interconnect on a worst-case combination based on user requirements.
