QPA1724 RF Amplifier by Qorvo
The QPA1724 from Qorvo is a GaN MMIC Power Amplifier that operates from 17.3 to 21.2 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 20 W (~43 dBm) with a small signal gain of 25 dB and power-added efficiency (PAE) of 27%. This amplifier is fabricated on Qorvo’s production 0.15 μm GaN on SiC process (QGaN15) and includes on-chip blocking capacitors following the DC grounds on the input and output ports. It is available in a package that measures 7.5 x 6.0 x 1.6 mm and is ideal for wide bandwidth multi-carrier high data throughput satellite applications. This amplifier can also be used for communication and radar applications in both commercial and military markets.
