LARA-R6001 Cellular Module by u-blox AG
The LARA-R6001 from u-blox AG is a Multi-mode LTE Cat 1 Module that covers global LTE FDD, LTE TDD, UMTS/HSPA, and GSM/GPRS bands. It provides universal connectivity with 18 LTE bands plus 3G/2G fallback. This module is secured by design with the root of trust, secure boot, secure updates, and secure communications ((D)TLS) functionalities. It supports MQTT Anywhere and MQTT Flex u-blox communication services. The module also has a GNSS modem for positioning and supports AssistNow and CellLocate u-blox location services.
The LARA-R6001 requires a DC supply of 3.8 V and consumes 1.1 mA of current. It can be controlled via UART, USB 2.0 (delivering 480 Mbit/s), I2C, I2S, GPIO, and (U)SIM interfaces. This module is available in a 100-pin LGA package that measures 24 x 26 x 2.6 mm and is ideal for asset tracking, telematics, remote monitoring, alarm panels, video surveillance, connected health, and point-of-sale terminal applications.
