TFM.120A Front End Module by Taoglas

The TFM.120A from Taoglas is a GNSS Front-end Module for L1+B1+G1, L2 and L5+L-bands from 1197 to 1606 MHz. It is a dual-input, single-output module and has a SAW/LNA/SAW/LNA topology in both the low and high-band signal paths to prevent unwanted out-of-band interference from overdriving the GNSS LNAs or receiver. The SAW filters provide excellent out-of-band rejection while also maintaining a low noise figure. It has cascaded LNAs, pre-filters and optimized impedance matching that deliver sufficient gain to the GNSS receiver without signal-to-noise overload. This FEM supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS and IRNSS constellations including SBAS. It requires a DC supply from +1.8 to +5.5 V and consumes less than 9.0 mA of current.

The TFM.120A provides a gain of more than 25 dB and has a noise figure of less than 2.43 dB. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 25.00 x 25.00 x 2.75 mm and is ideal for multi-band high-precision applications.
