MAYA-W4 Series RF Module by u-blox AG

The MAYA-W4 Series from u-blox are Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 Multi-Radio Modules that are designed and tested to meet the high reliability and quality requirements of industrial and commercial applications. They are based on NXP’s IW610x chipsets. These cost-efficient modules provide 1×1 SISO Wi-Fi 6 operation with multi-user-MIMO technology over a channel bandwidth of 20 MHz for improved network availability in dense environments. They support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.4, including the use of isochronous channels for LE audio. These multi-radio modules also include an IEEE 802.15.4 radio for Thread mesh networking and support Matter protocol over Wi-Fi, which allows interoperability with various products in a growing ecosystem.

The MAYA-W4 Series modules deliver a data rate of up to 250 kbps (at 2.45 GHz). They have security features such as 128-bit AES hardware encryption, secure boot, and NXP EdgeLock. These modules have SDIO 3.0, SPI, and GPIO interfaces for remote control. They require a DC supply from 3.13 to 3.46 V. These multi-radio modules are available in a land grid array (LGA) package that measures 10.4 x 14.3 x 1.9 mm and are ideal for professional appliances, healthcare, smart homes, and building automation applications.
