CQS325 Cellular Module by Cavli Wireless
The CQS325 from Cavli Wireless is an LTE Cat 4 Module with 2G fallback capability that is designed to meet a broad range of IoT application needs. It complies with 3GPP Release 10 standards and is based on the SM6225 baseband chipset. This module also consists of Qualcomm’s Kryo 265 CPU with memories (64 GB flash and 6 GB RAM) and Qualcomm’s Adreno 610 GPU with Hexagon digital signal processor supporting advanced computing for AI, image processing, and multimedia. It also includes Qualcomm’s Location Suite for GNSS coverage (GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, QZSS, and SBAS). This LTE CAT 4 module delivers a data rate of 150 Mbps (DL) and 50 Mbps (UL) in the Cat-4 mode, and 236.8 Kbps (DL) and 236.8 Kbps (UL) in the GSM mode.
The CQS325 supports multiple wireless protocols such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac for Wi-Fi connectivity and 2.1 EDR/3.0 HS/4.2 LE/5.0 LE for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity. This wireless module also provides an optional eSIM interface for global connectivity, which is managed through the Cavli Hubble IoT platform. This cellular module can be controlled through a rich set of interfaces, including USB, UART, GPIO, I2C, and SDC. It requires a DC supply from 3.5 to 4.75 V. This module is available in an LCC + LGA package that measures 40.5 x 40.5 x 2.7 mm. It is ideal for 2-wheelers, e-mobility, POS terminals, and telematics applications.
