Mini-Circuits’ continues to expand the PMA3-series of wideband MMIC amplifiers by pushing drive power beyond 1W while maintaining cost-effectiveness. The PMA3-73-1W+ delivers P1dB of 1.5W and PSAT of over 2W while exhibiting a remarkably low noise figure of 2.5 dB and still operating over 4.5 octaves of bandwidth. This big-power amplifier offers highly competitive performance for a fraction of the cost of similar solutions on the market. This versatile design is ideal as a driver amplifier, as well as in high dynamic range receivers. Its 3×3 mm QFN-style package makes it a space saver in dense PCB layouts.
