Mini-Circuits Announces µCeramIQ™ Brand for LTCC Product Line
Mini-Circuits is pleased to announce the rebranding of its LTCC product line under the µCeramIQ™ (pr. Micro-Ceramic) trade name. The new name and logo, which have been filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), differentiate the company’s unique design capabilities and industry-leading portfolio of surface-mount passive components utilizing Low-temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) substrates, which provide outstanding RF performance in extremely small device form factors.
Director of Product Line Engineering and Business Unit Leader for Mini-Circuits µCeramIQ technologies, Aaron Vaisman said, “We’ve been working as a company for over thirty years to develop a superior understanding of LTCC materials and design techniques. That effort and the investments we’ve made allow us to offer product line breadth and several capabilities we feel set us apart, and our brand should reflect that.”
Mini-Circuits µCeramIQ product line comprises thousands of catalog models and customer specials including low pass filters, high pass filters, band pass filters, diplexers, balun transformers, integrated balun-filters, splitters and couplers, with novel approaches to other key functions now in development. Among these, the BFHK-, LFHK- and HFHK-series of high-rejection filters have achieved rejection floors on the order of 90 dB combined with device size and cost unmatched by other technologies on the market. The BFCQ-series largest selection of commercially available LTCC-based millimeter wave bandpass filters for passbands up to 50 GHz and stopbands up to 67 GHz.
These product families will be featured at Mini-Circuits booth (#1351) this week at the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS) this week in San Francisco, including live interactive demos to spotlight practical use cases. Mini-Circuits team members will be on site to meet with customers and answer questions.
