MM5625 RF Switch by Menlo Micro

The MM5625 from Menlo Micro is a Differential Loopback DP3T Reflective Switch that operates from DC to 20 GHz. It is based on Menlo Micro’s Ideal Switch technology and utilizes a normally-open switch configuration. This switch consists of a differential pair, and each pair can be controlled individually over 128 possible switch states. All the ports of the switch are fully controllable to achieve low-speed, medium-speed, and high-speed signal routing operations compared to EM relays. This DP3T switch has an insertion loss of 2.7 dB, provides an isolation of 62 dB (differential), and has a switching speed of less than 30 µs. The high switching speed contributes to providing over 3 billion switching operations with reduced test time and cost-to-test.

The MM5625 has delivers a data rate of 80 Gbps over a bandwidth of 20 GHz for high-speed differential data applications with unprecedented levels for space-constrained final test and probe test. It requires a DC supply of 4.75 to 5.5 V and has an integrated charge pump & driver that eliminates the requirement for external biasing and driver circuitries. This DP3T switch is available in an LGA package that measures 8.2 x 8.2 mm. It is ideal for high-speed digital component testing, optical-electrical module testing, signal routing, ATE device interface boards, and differential switch matrix applications.
