SSG-8N12GD-RC Signal Generator by Mini-Circuits
The SSG-8N12GD-RC from Mini-Circuits is a Dual-Channel Signal Generator that operates from 8 to 12.5 GHz (X-Band). It provides an output power -55 dBm to +23 dBm with a power resolution of 0.1 dB and a power accuracy of ±0.5 dB. This cost-effective signal generator is designed to operate independently and in coherent or non-coherent modes with a phase resolution of 2.8°. It is capable of generating CW, single-tone, pulse sequences, AM, FM, chirp modulation, or automated frequency/power sweep and hop sequences. This generator allows users to configure these modulation types as per their requirements, enabling high-speed, automated test applications.
The SSG-8N12GD-RC can be controlled via USB HID and Ethernet (HTTP/Telnet/SSH) interfaces with Windows 7 or above or Linux OS, providing easy compatibility with a wide range of software setups and programming environments. This signal generator also has a special control interface that allows daisy-chaining of multiple units with dynamic addressing. This equipment requires a supply voltage of 5.7-6.3 (DC) & 50-57 V (LAN) and consumes less than 450 mA of current. It is available as an Aluminum module that measures 5.100 x 3.600 inches and has SMA (female) connectors. This signal generator is ideal for X-band radar testing, quantum computing, semiconductor testing, and benchtop test applications.
