RCDAT-44G-30 RF Variable Attenuator by Mini-Circuits

The RCDAT-44G-30 from Mini-Circuits is a Programmable Attenuator that operates from 0.1 to 44 GHz. It has an attenuation range of 0 to 31.5 dB in 0.5 dB steps, with an attenuation transition time of 100 µs and an insertion loss of less than 8.5 dB. This 50-Ohm programmable attenuator has an input P1dB of more than 22 dBm and a VSWR of less than 2.0:1. It features Mini-Circuits’ novel dynamic addressing daisy-chaining interface, which enables multiple units to be connected into a master-slave chain with independent control. Each attenuator channel can be controlled via a single USB or Ethernet interface supporting up to 25 units.

The RCDAT-44G-30 requires a DC supply from 3.25 to 4.75 V and consumes less than 450 mA of power. This programmable attenuator is available as a module measuring that measures 4.00 × 1.75 × 0.92 inches and has 2.92 mm female RF connectors. It is ideal for transmission loss simulation, 5G network infrastructure, microwave point-to-point links, and multi-band RF/microwave testing applications.
