The SLX Series from EM Research are programmable frequency synthesizers that operate from 50 to 6000 MHz. The synthesizers provide an output power of up to 7 dBm and require an external reference from 5 to 100 MHz. The synthesized signal has a low phase noise with harmonics less than -15 dBc and spurious less than -50 dBc. The synthezisers require a supply voltage of 3-5 V and draws a current of 65 mA. They are available in a surface mount package that measures 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.15 inches.
