QPF5010 Front End Module by Qorvo
The QPF5010 from Qorvo is a Multi-Die Fully-Integrated Front End Module that operates from 8 to 12 GHz for X-Band Radar Applications. It uses the best-in-class GaN and GaAs solutions for the four functional blocks – T/R switch, power amplifier, low-noise amplifier, and limiter. It delivers up to 10 Watts of saturated RF transmit power with a PAE of 30-40%. On the Rx side, it provides a gain of 25 dB with a noise figure of 2.2 dB.
The QPF5010 provides high-performance in a compact size to make design, layout, assembly, and test easier to achieve, allowing for shorter design cycles and faster time to market. This FEM is available in a land grid array (LGA) package that measures 7 x 5 mm and is ideally suited for communications and commercial/military X-band radar applications.
