QPF4730 Front End Module by Qorvo

The QPF4730 from Qorvo is a Wi-Fi 6+6E (802.11ax) Front-End Module that operates from 5150 to 7125 MHz. It has an integrated power amplifier (PA), single pole two throw switch (SP2T), and bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA). The FEM delivers an output power of up to +22 dBm with a Tx gain of 30 dB and provides an Rx gain of 14 dB with a noise figure of 2 dB. The performance of this module is focused on optimizing the PA for a 3.3 V supply voltage that conserves power consumption while maintaining a high linear output power and leading-edge throughput. This is done across a wide bandwidth enabling operation in all channels from UNII1-8 (5.1 to 7.1GHz) on the fly without the need for any logic switching. It requires a DC supply of 3.3 V and has an integrated RF power detector as well as a voltage detector for application feedback.

The QPF4730 has die level filtering for 2nd and 3rd harmonics and a 20 dB 2.4 GHz rejection path for DBDC operation. It is available in a 16-pad laminate package that measures 3 x 3 mm and is ideal for use in access points, wireless routers, residential gateways, customer premise equipment, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
