QPA2933 RF Amplifier by Qorvo
The QPA2933 from Qorvo is a Power Amplifier that operates in the S-Band from 2.9 to 3.3 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 79.4 W (~49 dBm) with a small signal gain of 30.7 dB and has a Power Added Efficiency (PAE) of 63.4%. This amplifier is fabricated on Qorvo’s 0.25 µm GaN-on-SiC process and has been designed to support a variety of operating conditions and system requirements. It has integrated 50 ?-matched DC blocking capacitors on both RF ports. This power amplifier requires a DC supply of 28 V, consumes 680 mA of current, and has good thermal properties to support a wide range of bias voltages. It is available in a plastic over-molded surface-mount package that measures 7.00 x 7.00 x 0.85 mm and is ideal for radar applications.
