QPA2040D RF Amplifier by Qorvo
The QPA2040D from Qorvo is a Power Amplifier that operates in the Ka-Band from 20 to 40 GHz. It delivers an output power of 33.5 dBm (~2.2 W) with a small signal gain of 24.3 dB and a power-added efficiency of 13%. This amplifier is fabricated using Qorvo’s production 0.15 um GaN-on-SiC process (QGaN15) and has on-chip blocking capacitors with DC grounded I/O ports for optimum ESD performance. It requires a DC supply of 18 V and consumes 462 mA of current. The amplifier is available as a die that measures 2.692 x 1.882 x 0.050 mm and is ideal for communications, radar, point-to-point radio, and electronic warfare applications.
