The MEQ14-14ASM from Marki Microwave is a Passive GaAs Equalizer MMIC that operates from DC to 14 GHz. It has a positive gain slope with attenuation options of 3,6,10 dB. This passive equalizer has an insertion loss of less than 1.3 dB and provides a return loss of 29 dB. It has been designed to compensate for low-pass filtering effects in RF/microwave and high-speed digital systems. The GaAs MMIC technology provides consistent unit-to-unit performance in a small, low-cost form factor.

This RoHS-compliant equalizer is available in a QFN package that measures 3 x 3 x 0.78 mm and has 250 to 500 V ESD protection. It is ideal for RF transceivers, telecom, cable loss compensation, amplifier compensation and high-speed data applications.
