Meet the All-New, Gen 3 TPP2, and Tibbit #61 Lineup
Tibbo’s excited to introduce the new TPP and Tibbit additions to the Tibbo Project System lineup that bring enhanced performance, and expanded capability.
TPP2(G3): Security, Performance, and Awareness
The TPP2(G3), our third-generation Size 2 Tibbo Project PCB, is engineered for modern IoT and automation applications requiring secure cloud connectivity, increased performance, and larger memory.
G3 offers all the features of G2, plus:
- TLS 1.2 RSA-2048 encryption for cloud connectivity
- 40% performance boost in application execution
- Hardware-accelerated floating-point operations
- 25% faster GPIO manipulation
- Expanded memory: 2MB flash, 130KB SRAM, and 4MB file system
- Onboard 3-axis accelerometer and temperature sensor
Tibbit #61: Isolated ±10V, 4-20mA ADC
Both 4–20mA current loop and 0–10V signals are widely used in industrial automation, instrumentation, and process control to transmit sensor data like temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, pH, and various other parameters. Introducing Tibbit #61, an isolated 24-bit ±10V / 4–20mA Sigma-Delta ADC for high-accuracy analog data capture in industrial and process control environments. Available in two variants to suit your power requirements.
Tibbit #61 offers:
- Two ±10V differential channels or four 0–10V single-ended channels
- Two single-ended 4-20mA current loop inputs
- Combined voltage and current inputs
- Onboard EEPROM with factory calibration data
- Overvoltage, overcurrent, surge, electrostatic discharge, and short-circuit protections on the analog front-end
- 24VDC isolated output for low-power sensors (only #61-1)
- Full AppBlocks and Tibbo BASIC library support
That means, Tibbit #61 does the job of Tibbits #52 and #53 combined!
Just getting started with TPS? Try AppBlocks
AppBlocks is our no-code, flowchart-based, in-browser application development platform for TPS and other Tibbo OS (TiOS) devices. With AppBlocks, you can both configure TPS hardware and Tibbits for purchasing, as well as create applications for your configured hardware. Don’t write your apps, draw them!
Point and click through the entire development process. When your app is ready for testing, upload it onto a TPS device and debug it directly from the browser. AppBlocks generates functional Tibbo BASIC applications that are ready for deployment directly, but you can edit them in TIDE too.
