QM42655 Front End Module by Qorvo
The QM42655 from Qorvo is a Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) Front-End Module (FEM) that operates at 2.4 GHz. It has an integrated multi-Tx state 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi power amplifier (PA) that is also used for HP BT, a single pole four throw switch (SP4T) ANT switch, and a bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA) with multiple Rx states. This FEM also has integrated die-level filtering for 2nd & 3rd harmonics, a 5 GHz rejection for DBDC operation, and a power coupler that enables closed-loop power control & DPD optimization. It delivers an output power of up to +20 dBm with a noise figure of 1.7 dB and has a Tx gain of 32 dB and an Rx gain of up to 17 dB.
The QM42655 supports multiple Wi-Fi Tx and BT Tx states that enable optimization of output power, linearity, and power dissipation, conserving power consumption while maintaining the highest linear output power and throughput for efficient operation. It has a receive path that matches the optimal technologies to maximize Rx sensitivity through noise figure performance that is consistent over a wider variety of conditions. This module requires a DC supply of 3 to 5 V and consumes less than 210 mA of current. It is available in a laminate package that measures 2.0 x 2.4 mm and is ideal for mobile phones, tablets, computing, VR/AR goggles, and Wi-Fi router applications.
