QPA9510 RF Amplifier by Qorvo

The QPA9510 from Qorvo is a Power Amplifier that operates from 0.1 to 1 GHz and is designed for use as the final RF amplifier in GSM hand-held equipment. It delivers an output power of 35.4 dBm (~3.5 W) with a gain of 33.8 dB and an efficiency of 55.2%. This power amplifier is manufactured using Qorvo’s advanced GaAs process and is tunable over any sub-bands in the operating range to optimize performance.

The QPA9510 features an on-board analog power controller offering over 70 dB gain adjustment and standby control via logic-low voltage. It has second harmonic levels of -28.5 dBm and non-harmonic spurious levels of better than -36 dBm. It requires a single DC supply of 2.8 to 3.6 V and consumes less than 2.4 A of current. This amplifier is available in a 16-pad QFN package that measures 3 x 3 mm. It is ideal for 3 V GSM cellular handsets, FM radios and UHF applications.
