SARA-R10 Series Cellular Module by u-blox AG

The SARA-R10 series from u-blox are Global LTE Cat 1bis Modules that are designed to provide LTE coverage along with indoor and outdoor positioning. They deliver a downlink data rate of 10 Mbps and an uplink data rate of 5 Mbps. The SARA-R10 series modules support multi-band LTE and include an embedded Wi-Fi radio to scan Wi-Fi hotspots for indoor and outdoor locations. These modules require a DC supply of 3.8 V and support very low power consumption with eDRX and PSM power-saving features. The SARA-R10001M10D variant provides the same features as the SARA-R10001D v but additionally embeds the u-blox M10 GNSS platform for concurrent connectivity and positioning. They have two independent power supplies for cellular and GNSS, thus enabling maximum control by the application. These modules support the u-blox AssistNow & CellLocate positioning service and are optionally available with an embedded eSIM. They are professional grade and are qualified according to the AEC-Q104 standard.

These modules can be controlled via UART, USB 2.0, I2C and GPIO interfaces and are available in an LGA package that measures 16.0 x 26.0 x 2.2 mm. The SARA-R10 series modules are ideal for asset tracking, telematics, healthcare and payment & vending applications.
