📡 Record and Playback Commands From IR Remotes

IR remote emulation support is here!

Want to automate control of equipment that came with an IR remote? Now you can record and replay IR commands right from your AppBlocks flow. This gives you control over aircons, dehumidifiers, TVs, and other equipment — pretty handy for building automation, indoor agriculture, and many other applications.

Here is the hardware you’ll need to emulate your IR remotes:

  • Tibbit #26 — the IR code processor that records and replays IR commands
  • Tibbit #27 — contains the phototransistor and IR LED, OR
  • Cable Probe (CP) #04 — functionally similar to Tibbit #27, but with the phototransistor and LED on a cable so you can position them exactly where you need them

📦 Larger JSON Bodies in HTTP Requests

Good news: HTTP request blocks can now exceed 255 bytes.

This restriction has been haunting us for years — and now it’s finally gone.

🔽 Dropdown Enum Values in Data Tables

Data Table fields now support enum options in dropdowns.

Instead of displaying 0, 1, 2 (which often do not convey much meaning), you can now show labels such as LOW, MID, HIGH, or anything else that makes sense for your project.

Your users will see these labels when editing the data tables in the UI (web interface).

📊 LCD Graph Widget Plays Nice With Others

And finally, this improvement: The LCD Graph widget now works alongside other widgets on the same screen.
