5-7GHz Wi-Fi 7 Front End Module
The QPF45508 from Qorvo is a Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) Front-End Module (FEM) that operates from 5.15 to 7.115 GHz. It incorporates a 5–7 GHz power amplifier (PA), a single-pole, three-throw (SP3T) antenna switch, a power coupler, and a bypassable low-noise amplifier (LNA). This FEM also features die-level filtering for 2nd and 3rd harmonics and DBDC rejection. It also integrates a power coupler that enables closed-loop power control and digital predistortion (DPD) optimization. This module delivers up to +19 dBm of transmit power with 29 dB of Tx gain, and offers 14.5 dB Rx gain with a noise figure of 1.9 dB.
The QPF45508 is optimized for a wide supply voltage range (3 to 5 V), allowing for flexible optimization of output power, linearity, and power efficiency, reducing power consumption while maintaining high linear output and throughput. It consumes less than 185 mA in 802.11n transmit mode and 12 mA in receive mode. This module is available in a laminate package that measures 2.0 x 2.0 mm. It is ideal for Wi-Fi 7 systems such as customer-premises equipment, consumer electronics, wearables, and IoT applications.

The Qorvo® QM45508 is an integrated Mobile Wi-Fi front end module (FEM) designed for Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) systems. The small form factor and integrated matching minimizes layout area in the application.
Performance is focused on optimizing the PA for a broad range of supply voltage (3.0V < Vcc < 5.0V). The multiple Wi-Fi TX modes enable optimization of output power, linearity, and power dissipation that conserves power consumption while maintaining the highest linear output power and leading edge throughput. Receive path matches the optimal technologies to maximize Rx sensitivity through noise figure performance that is consistent over a wider variety of conditions.
Integrated die level filtering for 2nd and 3rd harmonics as well as 2.4 GHz rejection for DBDC operation are included. An integrated power coupler enables close loop power control and DPD optimization.
The QM45508 integrates a multi-TX state 5-7 GHz Wi-Fi power amplifier (PA), single pole three throw switch (SP3T) ANT switch, bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA) with multiple RX states, and power coupler into a single device.
