The Qorvo® QPQ4701 is a high-performance, high-power BAWplexer which takes advantage of Qorvo’s coexBoost & bandBoost technologies to deliver extremely steep skirts, simultaneously exhibiting low loss in the Wi-Fi bands and high near-in rejection to prevent interference with LTE B7/B41/B38 and B40 signals. It includes a low-loss bandpass covering UNII1–3 WiFi channels (5150–5735 MHz).
The BAWplexer enables single antenna implementation combining both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi applications. The 2.4 GHz path integrates a BAW filter to enable simultaneous usage of Wi-Fi and LTE/5G signals without interference, leading to longer Wi-Fi range and increased network capacity.
The 5 GHz path is a low-loss bandpass incorporating bandBoost capability with U-NII 5–8 channels for applications working simultaneously with 6 GHz channels. The BAWplexer is designed for thermally challenging environments and exhibits excellent power handling capabilities.
Advanced laminate module packaging techniques achieve high integration in an industry-leading compact footprint. The QPQ4701 simplifies filter-to-diplexer matching, helping customers achieve faster time to market.
