Qorvo’s PAC52710 expands Qorvo’s portfolio of Power Application Controller® (PAC) products designed for controlling and powering smart energy appliances and equipment. The device introduces additional capabilities such as VDS sensing, cycle-by-cycle protection, enhanced sample and hold, and a windowed watchdog timer.

The application controller integrates a 50 MHz Arm Cortex-M0 32-bit microcontroller core with Qorvo’s Multi-Mode Power Manager™, Configurable Analog Front End™, and Application Specific Power Drivers™ to form a compact microcontroller-based power and application system.

The microcontroller includes up to 32 kB embedded flash and 8 kB SRAM, a high-speed 10-bit 1 µs ADC with dual auto-sampling sequencers, 5 V / 3.3 V I/O support, flexible clock sources, timers, a 14-channel PWM engine, and several serial communication interfaces.
